Young entrepreneurs Dennis Klett and Marco De Gregorio launched their Web 2.0 free vacation rentals directory in December 2007 with the goal of providing the world's largest vacation rentals website. And Domegos.com does seem to do just that.

For interest, the company name originates from the Esperanto word of “domego”, meaning “house”.

Using the latest technology Domegos provides a platform for vacation rental owners to list their vacation properties free of charge. The backend system is easy to navigate and takes you through a nine step process to list your property.

Over a dozen photos can be displayed and the advert can include individual pages showing rates, Google Map, an availability calendar and property reviews. Enquiries are forwarded via a contact form filled in by the holidaymaker.

The one listing management system will upload you property on to five listing websites – domegos.com, domegos.co.uk, domegos.it, domegos.de and domegos.at. Aimed at the USA, UK, Italian, German and Austrian markets respectively.
