Created in 2006 by a group of property owners in Dorset, EscapeLets.com provides a free listing website for your holiday home. Their philosophy is to provide a good, honest service, targeted at the requirements of the holiday maker whilst cutting the cost of their holiday.

EscapeLets.com also offer advice on all aspects of holiday rentals and help with the completion of the total holiday experience with information on train, plane, boat travel, car hire and promoting eco-friendly travel…“EscapeLets.com support a range of green initiatives and if we make profits in the future, we pledge to set aside a proportion of these to government approved carbon offsetting schemes”.

As an advertiser you get a full colour page multi-page advertisement for your property and space for up to 10 colour photos, an availability calendar, a location map and a contact form so that booking enquiries can be forwarded to directly to your nominated email address.

If you want you can also display other contact information such as telephone and mobile numbers and include a link to your own website. All properties are included in EscapeLets.com’s search engine so that visitors can browse to find holiday homes by maps, location or special features.

Advertisers on EscapeLets.com can login and make changes to their advertisement whenever they want and as often as they want and the FAQs give extensive information about how to make the most of your listing. There is a free visitor counter giving you the numbers you need to evaluate how many people are looking at your listing. You can ask other property owners for their opinion in the forum or contact the help desk at EscapeLets.com via an online form, by sending an email or by giving them a call.

Holidaymakers have a “Using this Site” link directing them to general information about how to use EscapeLets.com to find a holiday home. For the search, they have a World Map and an advanced search filter to narrow down their search and each property has a unique reference number so that visitors can refer back to a specific home they like.

They can also use the “Ski Holidays” and “Golf Holidays” links on the Home page to fast track holidaymakers to these properties. There is a separate Travel Services menu for complete travel planning with lots of helpful links.
