Use the Local Business Center to create your free listing. When potential customers search Maps for holiday accommodation information, they'll find your holiday rental listed and pinpointed on Google Maps.
Please note that you will need to be registered with a googlemail account to benefit from this opportunity and validation of the advert will be required before the listing appears.
To submit a directory listing go to Google.com and click the ‘Maps’ link found in the top left navigation. Select the link that says “Put your business on Google Maps” and sign-in to your Google Account.
Click the ‘Add a business’ button and enter the details of your holiday rental property – making sure you provide the address of the property and not your home address. This will ensure that the Map will pinpoint where your property is correctly.
Add in your website and a short description. You are only allowed up to 200 characters so make sure you use it wisely.
You can use the ‘Fix incorrect marker’ option if the pointer is not positioned correctly.
On submission Google will validate the listing by contacting you on the telephone number provided (phonecall or SMS) or via a postcard to the address of your holiday home.
